Account Executive (Mid-Market SaaS)

Account Executive (Mid-Market SaaS)£80,000 Basic | £160,000 OTE | Fully Remote | Venture-Backed Technology Business Our client is an ambitious, venture-backed technology business that's transforming the way organisations develop their people through an innovative AI-powered learning platform.

They've already solved one of the biggest challenges in sales - generating quality opportunities. Their marketing engine consistently delivers a healthy pipeline of qualified leads, allowing you to focus on what you do best... building relationships, running a consultative sales process and closing business.

This isn't a role for someone who wants to manage existing accounts or simply maintain a pipeline. It's for a commercially driven salesperson who enjoys uncovering customer challenges, demonstrating value and winning new business.

The Role

As an Account Executive, you'll own the complete sales cycle from qualified opportunity through to signed contract.

Working with HR, Learning & Development and People leaders within mid-market organisations, you'll conduct discovery meetings, deliver online demonstrations, present commercial proposals and negotiate agreements.

Once a customer signs, implementation is handed over to the delivery team, allowing you to stay focused on generating new revenue.

This is a genuine opportunity to join a business at an exciting stage of growth where you'll have plenty of autonomy, influence and the chance to make a real impact.

What We're Looking For

You'll be someone who:

  • Has experience selling SaaS/software solutions
  • Enjoys closing business
  • Conducts thorough discovery and qualification
  • Thinks strategically about moving opportunities forward
  • Is confident handling objections and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Takes ownership of results and consistently delivers against targets
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Experience selling into HR, Learning & Development or People teams would be advantageous, but it's certainly not essential.

What's on Offer
  • £80,000 basic salary
  • Realistic £160,000 uncapped OTE
  • Fully remote working
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Birthday off
  • Pension scheme
  • Venture-backed technology business experiencing significant growth
  • Genuine opportunity to influence and shape the sales function
  • Long-term career progression as the business continues to scale

If you're looking for a role where you'll be trusted, supported and rewarded for delivering results, we'd love to hear from you.
