Admin Assistant/Moderator

inLinx is the latest concept in Social Media Networking. Users can chat with family and friends in complete privacy, or go to the chat room where you can chat with the rest of the world at your leisure.

InLinx is now looking to recruit experienced social media content moderators.

Ideally, you will have at least 12 months experience in social media moderation and will be knowledgeable about inlinx.com and other leading social media products and community standards.


  • Preferably educated to degree level, you will possess excellent written and verbal English skills while knowledge of a second language would be useful. You should also be able to demonstrate a patient and methodical approach, be well organised and capable of handling large volumes of content as well as being able to adhere to a set of strict guidelines when monitoring content and taking an appropriate course of action.

    Responsibilities

    • Investigate and resolve issues that are reported by users such as requests for account support and reports of potentially abusive content; removing inappropriate content and managing user problems where necessary.
    • Encourage discussion with users and respond to user inquiries with high quality, speed, empathy and accuracy.
    • Used to dealing with potentially demanding and sensitive user content and be able to take a well balanced approach when responding to members of the community.
    • Provide a brief report of the main concerns and points of view from community users.

    Hours of work

    This role will be working from home on an as needs basis. You will be paid by the hour. Hours of work are flexible and will be discussed at interview.

    Skills and experience

    • Preferably with a Bachelor’s degree.
    • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to defend decisions and provide context in responding to users.
    • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
    • Highly motivated, confident and well organised.
    • Strong written English and presentation skills.
    • Second language desirable.
    • Good understanding of user behaviours and online habits.
    • Knowledge of inLinx and other major social media networks.
    • Able to manage stress levels and cope with often unsettling content.
    • A passion for social media and knowledge of the latest trends and platforms.
