Pay rates to £40 per hour, part time, 3 days per week
Contract role, Specialist Adult Pathway team (Part Time, 3 days)

Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Adult’s Social Work Team Manager in West Yorkshire
This is to manage a Specialist Adult Pathway team, and is part-time for 3 days per week
The Role

  • You will provide operational leadership to a team of Social Workers and Community Assessment and Support Officers, overseeing assessment, care planning, safeguarding, performance management and service delivery. The role requires close partnership working with Children's Services, Education, Health, Commissioning and provider organisations to ensure effective transition planning and positive outcomes for young people and their families.
Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day management of the SAPT team.
  • Oversight of transition assessments and Care Act duties.
  • Management of performance, demand and workflow.
  • Chairing complex case discussions and decision-making forums.
  • Providing supervision, support and professional challenge to staff.
  • Driving improvements in quality, timeliness and outcomes.
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external partners to support seamless transitions into adulthood.
Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Previous Team Manager experience within Adult Social Care, Transitions, Learning Disabilities or Children's Disability Services.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding legislation.
  • Experience of managing complex cases, performance and workforce issues.
  • Ability to lead and support staff within a busy and demanding environment
  • Working 3 days across 5 - preferably Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
