You’ll be responsible for everything from creator recruitment and product sampling through to incentive structures, affiliate relationships, partner networks and performance optimisation.

This isn’t traditional influencer marketing. You’ll think commercially, move quickly and use performance data to work out who to recruit, who to invest in and how to turn one successful creator or piece of content into repeatable growth.

We are Nonsensical. A TikTok-first agency built on passion, curiosity, creativity and honesty. We help brands show up, stand out and blow up on TikTok - from viral hospitality brands to global B2B, finance, beauty and retail clients.

As Affiliate Manager, you’ll sit at the heart of our TikTok Shop offering, working closely with Shop, influencer, content, strategy and client teams to build affiliate communities that create brilliant content and drive commercial results.

What You’ll Be Doing

Build and own TikTok Shop affiliate strategies across client accounts, from cold-start launches through to established programmes at scale.

Develop affiliate recruitment, activation and retention plans aligned to each client’s commercial objectives.

Define the right creator mix using TikTok Shop performance signals and Creator Levels, rather than relying purely on follower count.

Set clear programme KPIs across affiliate activation, content volume, GMV, conversion and efficiency.

Identify which products, offers and creator propositions have the strongest potential to drive affiliate participation and sales.

Build strategies that encourage sustained creator activity rather than one-off posting.

Identify and recruit high-potential TikTok Shop affiliates through direct outreach, TikTok’s creator ecosystem and wider affiliate networks.

Manage affiliate pipelines across different creator performance levels, from emerging sellers through to high-GMV creators.

Maintain a strong understanding of what motivates affiliates and use those insights to improve recruitment and retention.

Own product sampling strategy across affiliate campaigns, balancing opportunity, cost and likelihood to post.

Decide which creators receive which products based on creator fit, performance and campaign objectives.

Monitor sample-to-content and sample-to-sale performance and continually improve sampling efficiency.

Develop commission structures, affiliate incentives, competitions and performance tiers that encourage creators to keep posting.

Build clear approaches for managing non-posting affiliates and reallocating investment toward creators showing stronger intent.

Manage relationships with TAPs, CAPs and other affiliate or creator partners where they can accelerate programme growth.

Understand when external partner support adds value versus when direct affiliate recruitment is the stronger route.

Own affiliate performance reporting across metrics including active affiliates, creator levels, content volume, GMV, GPM, conversion, commission cost and SKU performance.

Analyse performance at creator, content and product level to identify what is driving sales.

Make fast, evidence-led decisions about where to increase commission, seed more product, recruit similar creators or reduce investment.

Turn reporting into clear actions — focusing not just on what happened, but what we should do next.

Write affiliate briefs that give creators enough direction to sell effectively while still allowing content to feel native to TikTok.

Work with content and strategy teams to translate winning affiliate insights into wider creative opportunities.

Act as the affiliate specialist across relevant client accounts, confidently presenting strategy, results and recommendations.

Partner with our influencer, Shop, paid, content and production teams to create joined-up TikTok strategies.

Clearly communicate affiliate opportunities, risks and performance to clients and internal stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

Experience managing TikTok Shop affiliate programmes, social commerce, creator commerce or performance-led influencer campaigns.

A strong understanding of how TikTok Shop affiliate works and what motivates creators to promote and repeatedly post about products.

Experience recruiting and managing creators or affiliates at scale.

Strong commercial instincts and confidence working with GMV, commission, conversion and performance metrics.

Experience with creator sampling and understanding how to improve sample-to-post efficiency.

Comfortable using data to make decisions and optimise campaigns quickly.

Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to motivate creators and external partners.

Excellent organisation and the ability to manage large creator pipelines across multiple campaigns or clients.

Confidence communicating strategy and performance to clients.

A proactive mindset — you spot opportunities, test ideas and take action without needing to be asked.

Strong knowledge of TikTok culture, content and commerce.

Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where platform features and best practices evolve quickly.

Bonus Points If You Have

Existing relationships with high-performing TikTok Shop creators or affiliate communities.

Experience working with TAPs, CAPs or other TikTok Shop partner networks.

Experience across beauty, fashion, FMCG or other product-led TikTok Shop categories.

Knowledge of TikTok LIVE
