Aircraft Cleaner - Night Shift - Stansted Airport

Aviation Recruitment experts Optime Group are excited to be recruiting for Aircraft Cleaners to join our prestigious client at Stansted airport

What’s on offer:

  • Rate of Pay: £13.08 per hour
  • Shifts available: Night Shift 22:00 – 06:00
  • Shift pattern: 5 on 3 off
  • Weekly Pay (every Friday)
  • Full training provided
  • Temp to Perm (performance-based)
  • Onsite Parking
  • Discounted Travel as part of Stansted’s staff travel initiative

Start Date:

  • June 2026

Key Duties:

  • Cleaning various sizes of aircraft.
  • Ability to work quickly and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ensuring that you comply with all security processes at Stansted Airport.
  • Operate all equipment, as per training, to meet safety expectations.
  • Working in a safe and tidy manner.

Roster examples:

The airport is operational 365 days a year, 7 days a week so full flexibility is required.

    • Day 1: 22:00 – 06:00
    • Day 2: 22:00 – 06:00
    • Day 3: 22:00 – 06:00
    • Day 4: 22:00 – 06:00
    • Day 5: 22:00 – 06:00

Requirements:

  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Great work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpretational skills.
  • Must be over 18
  • Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial.

Please note: As this is an airport role, successful candidates must pass security checks in-line with CAA regulations. These checks include 5-year work and address history, DBS (must have no disqualifying criminal convictions), valid Right to Work.
