Amazon Customer Media & Marketing Manager. (Fixed Term Contract 15 months)

TITLE: Amazon Customer Media & Marketing Manager.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As part of the Global Amazon team, this role is responsible for planning and executing Amazon Advertising campaigns, strengthening the company’s presence on Amazon, and contributing to worldwide Amazon sales growth through best-in-class customer marketing and media strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Define global Amazon marketing strategies and toolkits in partnership with Categories

  • Leverage global category strategies, market insights, consumer understanding, and online analytics to define winning mid- to long-term Amazon strategies and toolkits.
  • Develop customized blueprints for events, including advertising strategies and plans, strategic NPI support, and partnership opportunities.
  • Drive strategies that grow profitable sell-out, convert more Amazon traffic, and build loyal, satisfied consumers.
  • Ensure consistency with the Global Commercial strategy, balancing top-line and bottom-line growth objectives.
  • Provide clear investment guidelines for key strategic priorities.

Guide and drive execution of category strategies for Amazon globally in cooperation with regions and countries

  • Guide local markets and support execution of global category and Amazon strategies.
  • Monitor execution progress through regional scorecards and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Track and analyze KPIs, including sales, ROAS, sales incrementality, CVR, and traffic.
  • Lead communication between the Global Amazon team, Global Category teams, and regional/local teams to ensure strong information flow and alignment.

Leverage Amazon Media to grow category share, gain market share on Amazon, and reach new audiences

  • Distill learnings from Amazon Advertising performance and commercial results into global playbooks and best-practice guidelines.
  • Develop global advertising recommendations by category, in collaboration with agencies where applicable.
  • Prepare reports and analyze campaign performance to capture global learnings.
  • Lead advertising pilots and coordinate with media teams to test, learn, and scale what works.
  • Collaborate with Paid Digital Media and regional teams across Amazon and non-Amazon media channels, including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
  • Ensure media investment is optimized for ROI and contributes to brand and business objectives.

Lead best-practice sharing across markets and regions

  • Gather insights from pilots and local market activations.
  • Collect, synthesize, and share best practices across regions.
  • Communicate key learnings and ensure they are applied consistently.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Amazon advertising, performance marketing and eCommerce.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Ads, programmatic advertising, DSPs, paid search, and performance measurement.
  • Experience working across global/regional/local teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into commercial recommendations.
  • Experience managing agencies and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluent English

Useful:

  • Experience working at a global brand or agency across two or more regions
  • Experience in consumer electronics, FMCG, or branded goods.
  • In addition to Amazon Ads, familiarity with Google Ads, SEO, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, retail media platforms, as well as eCommerce, DTC, and advertising analytics tools.
  • Work experience client side with a global advertising agency or at a global media agency or performance marketing agency
