Amazon Operative
We are seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution team. In this role, you will help ensure customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time. Previous warehouse experience is useful but not essential, as full training will be provided. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, following clear procedures and maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
Your duties will include receiving and checking incoming goods, storing items in the correct locations, picking products from shelves, packing orders securely and preparing consignments for dispatch. You may also be required to use handheld scanners or other warehouse systems, complete stock checks, move goods safely using manual handling equipment and keep work areas clean and organised. The role may involve standing or walking for extended periods, lifting and moving packages within safe working limits, and meeting agreed productivity and quality targets.
The successful candidate will be dependable, punctual and able to work well both independently and as part of a team. Good attention to detail, a positive attitude and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions are essential. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends or peak periods, may be required.
