Amazon Operative
We are seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Operatives to join a busy fulfilment and distribution team. In this role, you will help ensure customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time. The position involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where attention to detail, teamwork and a strong work ethic are essential. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals with or without previous warehouse experience.
Your responsibilities will include receiving and checking incoming stock, picking products using handheld scanners, packing items securely and preparing orders for dispatch. You may also be required to sort deliveries, label packages, replenish stock, maintain accurate inventory records and move goods safely around the warehouse. You will follow established processes and health and safety procedures at all times, keep work areas clean and organised, and report any damaged goods, stock discrepancies or operational issues to a supervisor.
The successful candidate will be dependable, punctual and comfortable working on their feet for extended periods. You should be able to follow written and verbal instructions, work efficiently to deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy in a repetitive environment. The role may involve lifting and handling packages, so a reasonable level of physical fitness is required. Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends or additional hours during busy periods, may also be necessary. A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work well independently and as part of a team are highly valued.
