Are you an experienced Animal Welfare Lecturer, Animal Care Tutor or Animal Management Trainer looking for your next immediately available contract role, offering a long-term 6-12 month assignment within a well-established college?

Do you have experience delivering teaching within Further Education, or are you from an Animal Welfare / Animal Care background and looking to move into a role where you can pass on your knowledge and support learners into the industry?

On offer is the opportunity to support learners working towards their qualifications through high-quality delivery, guidance and ongoing support, helping them build the knowledge, behaviours and practical understanding needed for a career in animal care.

You will deliver engaging sessions, provide coaching and constructive feedback, and work closely with the wider team to ensure learners remain on track and achieve their full potential.

This role would suit an experienced Lecturer or Animal Care professional looking for a long-term contract position within a supportive education environment.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging teaching and learning across Animal Welfare / Animal Care programmes
  • Support learners working towards their qualifications
  • Coach, mentor and provide constructive feedback to students
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • 6-12 month contract based on-site in Northampton

The Person:

  • Qualified in Animal Welfare / Animal Care / Animal Management (or closely related discipline)
  • Teaching/lecturing experience (FE experience desirable)
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
