Chez Rose

Chez Rose is a newly opened neighbourhood bistro by chef Spencer Metzger, combining seasonal British produce with the spirit and technique of classic French cooking.

The restaurant is created in partnership with acclaimed restaurateurs Jason Atherton and Irha Atherton, who join Metzger in bringing the project to life. Together they aim to create a welcoming space, a lively elegant bistro where exceptional food, great wine, and warm hospitality take centre stage.

About you:

We are recruiting for a talented and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Team. You would have an eye for detail and be proactive in the Restaurant, ensuring that the Front of House department is run efficiently. You will go beyond and above the call of duty to ensure that every guest receives a lasting and memorable experience and ensure that service is run seamlessly.

Working structure:

3 doubles and 2 short shifts per week.

2 days off

Responsibilities:

  • Handle guest complaints and feedback effectively and professionally
  • Manage Reservations, seating arrangements, and table service
  • Oversee the smooth running of the Restaurant, including assisting with stock control, finances and revenue reporting
  • Provide management support to the Senior Management
  • Support the team through delivering training that supports their learning and development
  • Uphold, food and safety & hygiene standards
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives and ideas.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager with solid Hospitality experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to inspire your team
  • Passion for customer service and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences
  • Excellent Knowledge of Food & Beverage service standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
