Associate Director - Project Management - Senior PM

AECOM are looking for an experienced Associate Director with experience in Project Management with minimum 15 years in the construction industry including minimum of 5 years in Dubai or the Middle East.

Desired Skills & Responsibilities

  • Ideally involved in both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract roles having managed high-profile landmark projects and has led large teams.
  • Experience in a range of asset types including High-End Residential Commercial and Hospitality.
  • Experience in managing and leading projects with large CAPEX values exceeding US$ 1billion.
  • Ability to take ownership and lead work under minimal direction.
  • Ability to provide advisory on program feasibility benchmarking constructability design value engineering phasing strategies consultant appointments contractor selection and see through the post-contract phase with contracts close-out.
  • Responsible for management of the Project design and construction phases in line with the time quality and budget requirements of the Client.
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients on large-scale projects.
  • Lead the team in the co-ordination and development of the Project Design through various phases.
  • Accountable for briefing the team on project scopes to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood.
  • Liaise with the internal and external project team (Consultants Contractors Authorities and Stakeholders) including the Clients Commercial Department on cost and budget related issues and maintain open communication at all times.
  • Manage development implementation and execution of the project Master Programme and Project Execution Plan.
  • Ensure robust design; procurement and construction programs are established and executed.
  • Prepare and issue Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Reports to the Development Director/Project Director.
  • Ensure Change Request procedures are implemented and adhered to.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for preparation of scope of works and technical requirements for consultant/contractor procurement.
  • Assist in the selection recommendation and appointment of designers specialist consultants specialist suppliers and contractors.
  • Support the Development/Project Director in day-to-day management of the project.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree in Project Management Construction Management Engineering or other Construction related field.
  • Minimum 15 years post graduate
  • Minimum 5 years in the Middle East
