B2B Cold Outreach Sales Representative (Commission Only, Self-Employed)

Remote | Self-employed / Freelance | £100 per Activated Customer

IMPORTANT: This is a 100% commission-only opportunity. There is no basic salary, hourly pay or guaranteed income. Please apply only if you understand this arrangement and are comfortable generating sales through outbound prospecting.

About BetterPage

BetterPage provides professionally designed and fully managed websites to UK small businesses for £79 per month, with no upfront website build fee.

We're a startup with ambitious plans and are doing our first group of interviews, so you will be joining a brand-new and energetic team of sales representatives.

We're looking for self-employed B2B sales representatives who are confident making outbound cold calls and converting business owners into paying customers.

This opportunity is best suited to individuals with previous telephone sales experience who enjoy prospecting, following up and closing deals.

The opportunity

You'll introduce BetterPage to UK small-business owners, explain our straightforward website service and work towards converting interested prospects into customers.

This is an outbound sales role, not an inbound enquiries or appointment-setting-only position. You should be comfortable proactively making cold calls and managing your own sales opportunities through to a close.

BetterPage can provide researched small-business leads, sales materials and example website designs. You're also welcome to source your own prospects, subject to our duplicate-checking and marketing compliance procedures.

You won't need to build or maintain any websites yourself.

Commission and earnings

  • £100 commission per successfully Activated Customer.
  • Commission is earned once the customer has accepted the Service Agreement, established recurring payment, and their first payment has successfully cleared, subject to the agreed activation criteria.
  • Earned commissions are calculated weekly. Contractors submit invoices, which are paid within 7 days of receipt.
  • No basic salary, hourly rate or guaranteed minimum earnings.
  • Earnings depend entirely on the number of customers you successfully activate.
  • No commission cap, subject to BetterPage's available fulfillment capacity and acceptance of new customers.

For illustration:

  • 5 activated customers = £500
  • 10 activated customers = £1,000
  • 20 activated customers = £2,000

These are examples of commission calculations, not earnings forecasts or guarantees.

What you'll be doing

  • Making outbound cold calls to UK small-business owners and decision-makers.
  • Introducing BetterPage's £79/month managed website service.
  • Identifying businesses that could benefit from a professional website (though we also provide leads).
  • Explaining the service, answering questions and handling objections.
  • Sharing website examples, interactive feature demonstrations and bespoke mockups where available.
  • Following up with interested prospects and working towards closing sales.
  • Keeping accurate records of sales conversations and follow-ups in our provided tracker.

What BetterPage provides

  • Researched UK small-business leads, subject to availability and active pipeline needs.
  • A business calling setup for compatible devices.
  • BetterPage business email and access to our sales tracking system.
  • A structured sales playbook, pricing guidance and objection-handling resources.
  • An interactive website features showcase to share with prospects.
  • Bespoke website mockups for selected opportunities.
  • Ongoing product information and support from the founder.
  • Additional leads where available for representatives actively progressing their pipelines.

Who we're looking for

Previous hands-on outbound cold-calling or telesales experience is strongly preferred, ideally selling to businesses.

You should be:

  • Confident initiating conversations with business owners who aren't expecting your call.
  • Comfortable working independently and generating your own sales activity.
  • Experienced in handling objections, following up and progressing opportunities.
  • Able to communicate professionally and explain a service clearly.
  • Organized and reliable when managing leads and updating sales records.
  • Comfortable with commission-only earnings and the uncertainty involved.
  • Genuinely interested in putting time into developing a sales pipeline.

Experience selling websites, digital marketing, SaaS, telecommunications or other B2B services would be particularly relevant.

This opportunity is unlikely to suit someone looking for guaranteed income, warm inbound leads or a role without outbound telephone prospecting.

Working arrangement

This is a remote, self-employed freelance arrangement, not a salaried employment position.

You decide when, where and how much you work. There are no fixed working hours, mandatory calling shifts or minimum sales quotas. You are free to provide services to other businesses - though we are particularly interested in working with independent salespeople who intend to engage in regular outbound prospecting and build an active pipeline of opportunities.

There is no obligation to accept work, and BetterPage does not guarantee lead allocations or a minimum volume of work. Access to leads and business resources may be reviewed based on availability and activity.

Before applying, please consider whether you are genuinely comfortable with cold calling, commission-only compensation and proactively generating sales without guaranteed earnings.

Pay: Up to £5,000.00 per month
