Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, assisting with food preparation, and providing excellent customer service in a lively café environment. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring all items meet quality and safety standards.
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including counters, tables, and equipment.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure excellent customer experience.
Skills
  • Proven Barista Experience: Prior experience in a specialty cafe, fast-paced coffee shop, or high-volume deli is required.
  • Advanced Coffee Craft & Interest: A genuine passion for coffee with hands-on experience dialing in grinders, adjusting espresso recipes, understanding yield and extraction, and executing latte art.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
  • Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to assist with food preparation tasks efficiently.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to engage with customers effectively.
  • Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
