Duties

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as Xero to ensure accurate financial data entry and record keeping
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts regularly to maintain up-to-date financial records
  • Process accounts payable by reviewing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments
  • Assist with accounts receivable tasks including invoicing clients and tracking payments
  • Support month-end closing activities by preparing financial reports and summaries
  • Maintain organized digital and physical files of financial documents for audit readiness and compliance
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve bookkeeping processes and implement best practices
Skills
  • Proficiency in popular accounting software in Xero is essential
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, especially accounts payable management
