Your Opportunity
A Books Specialist for Books & Flipster Digital Magazines supports the worldwide sales organization by facilitating the timely resolution of sales inquiries while working closely with Customers, Prospects, Product Management, Order Processing, and Customer Support. A successful Books Specialist must be flexible enough to adapt in adverse conditions.
This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories).
What You\'ll Do

  • Resolve incoming sales inquiries regarding pricing, products, and processes
  • Interact with customers daily (both reactive & proactive)
  • Develop technical expertise to answer sales questions
  • Maintain sales documentation to promote sales effectiveness
  • Perform title filtering and price quote requests
  • Coordinate with Order Processing as needed to improve sales processes
  • Construct business requirements for Product Management development efforts
  • Provide various reports covering sales results and sales opportunities
  • Provide written communications to worldwide sales & marketing
  • Set up customer accounts for e-Commerce website & Book management portal
  • Research sales opportunities based on current events, new programs of study, etc. both domestic & international
  • A Books Specialist handles an average of 75-100 inquires per day.
  • Provide assistance to worldwide sales force for Flipster Digital Magazines
Your Team
You will be welcomed as a member of the Books Sales Team within the Sales department. We promote a healthy work-life balance as we all work remotely. We use Microsoft Teams as our way of staying connected for the “in-office” feel. Our team is supportive with training and providing resources, assisted by our shared knowledgebase of information.
About You
  • 0-2 years of sales experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (including MS Access)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers at all levels of an organization.
