Business Development Executive (B2B Software Sales)

Job Summary

We are looking for a confident and relationship-driven sales professional who excels at building long-term business relationships rather than relying solely on digital marketing or inbound leads. The ideal candidate should be comfortable networking, meeting prospective clients, developing strategic partnerships, and generating new business through direct engagement. Odoo ERP Salling experience is plus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and acquire new B2B clients.
  • Generate new business through networking, cold calling, referrals, field visits, and strategic partnerships.
  • Schedule and conduct client meetings, product presentations, and software demonstrations.
  • Understand customer requirements and propose suitable software solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate with the implementation and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Update CRM with customer interactions, opportunities, and sales progress.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand market presence.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in B2B software sales or enterprise solution sales.
  • Strong business communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and consultative selling abilities.
  • Professional attitude with a customer-first approach.
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders and manage high-value opportunities.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 Years required
  • Currently preferred British native residents

Must Have

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B Software, SaaS, ERP, or IT Solution Sales.
  • Proven ability to generate business through direct sales, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and relationship building.
  • Strong experience in meeting Business Owners, CXOs, Directors, and Key Decision Makers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Ability to understand customer business processes and recommend appropriate software solutions.
  • Strong experience in managing long sales cycles and closing enterprise-level deals.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
  • Valid driving license and access to personal transportation (preferred based on territory)
