Care Assistant for a lady P/T@ £15.00/hr in BS8 - Bristol - BS8 <div>This role will be to provide personal and administrative assistance to the client. It will be predominantly if not entirely based at her home address, but some administrative work may, with agreement, be undertaken in the assistant’s own home in the BS8 area of Bristol. <br><br><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br></strong><br></div><div>These will vary considerably according to circumstances but will include:<br> <br>· Assistance with correspondence (hard copy and digital) and other documentation, including filing.<br><br></div><div>· Assistance with organising affairs, including the reminding and keeping of appointments<br><br></div><div>· Assistance with domestic duties including cleaning, laundry and emptying of bins<br><br></div><div>· Assistance with organising property, including sale, return or disposal of some items<br><br></div><div>· Assistance occasionally with shopping and posting items<br><br></div><div>· Assistance occasionally with care of cats <br><br></div><div>· Assistance occasionally with general care of garden <br><br></div><div>· Assistance with all reasonable requests <br><br></div><div>· Providing companionship <br><br></div><div>Other possible responsibilities might with agreement include providing accompaniment on visits/trips and, if feasible, help with mobility through pushing a wheelchair.<br><br></div><div>All duties must be carried out in a professional manner, with discretion and with a high regard for confidentiality. <br><br><br><br></div><div>Hours per week 9-11, spread over 2-3 afternoons per week.<br><br></div><div>Flexibility Some flexibility is desirable, including preparedness to work at weekends.<br><br></div><div>PAY Minimum £15/hour during weekdays and £18/hour at weekends, possibly more depending on experience, qualifications and satisfactory probationary period. <strong><br></strong><br></div><div><strong><br></strong><br></div><div><br><br></div>
