We manufacture and supply into a wide range of channels including Grocery, Discounter, Wholesale, eCommerce, Pet Specialist, and Export markets, ensuring our brands reach pet owners across the UK and beyond</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Overview of Role </strong></p><p>To lead and develop the Pet Trade channel, ensuring profitable growth across key customers whilst building a high-performing team capable of delivering the next stage of growth for Pets Choice<strong>.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the Pet Trade channel strategy across specialist retail and pet trade customers.</li><li>Manage and develop a team consisting of National Account Managers, Internal Account Managers and Field Sales personnel. ·</li><li>Build strong relationships with key customers including Pets at Home and other strategic pet trade accounts.</li><li>Identify opportunities for growth, distribution gains and commercial improvement.</li><li>Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain and Senior Leadership to improve channel performance.</li><li>Support ongoing SKU rationalisation, pricing projects, and process and systems efficiencies.</li><li>Review existing ways of working and implement improvements to processes, reporting and account management standards.</li><li>Develop future talent within the Pet Trade team.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills, Experience and Qualifications required</strong></p><p>Essential</p><ul><li>Pet Industry experience essential</li><li>Proven leadership experience</li><li>National Account Management / Channel Management background</li><li>Experience managing major retail or specialist pet accounts</li><li>Comfortable operating within a fast-moving entrepreneurial business</li><li>Strong commercial and strategic capability</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This role is remote/field based with regular travel to our Head Office in Blackburn.</p><p><br></p>
