Your Mission

As Newpage scales, the Growth and IP team holds accountability across strategic growth, AI native, and commercial execution - with VP Technology and VP AI Solutions as peer leaders on the Senior Leadership Team.

The Chief of Staff is being created to extend and amplify the executive's capacity across all of these dimensions, while serving as a full peer to the other VPs and executives on the SLT.

This is a full- scope Chief of Staff role. It spans traditional CoS responsibilities - operating rhythm, executive communications, and decision support - alongside broader ownership of the company's operational connective tissue: the integration points between Sales, Delivery, Finance, and HR/Talent that either create momentum or create drag. Critically, this person will own strategy- to- execution translation, company-wide OKR operationalization, and the build-out of automated, AI- powered reporting that gives leadership real-time visibility into the business.

If you've been waiting for a role where operational excellence, strategic thinking, genuine AI fluency, and cultural leadership all matter in equal measure - this is it.

What You’ll Do

1. Executive Partnership & Strategic Execution

  • Serve as the primary operating layer between the senior leadership team and all peer leaders and cross- functional stakeholders
  • Own executive communications - leadership briefings, internal all-hands, and stakeholder updates
  • Drive strategic initiatives from ideation through completion, acting as project lead on VP-sponsored workstreams
  • Protect and direct the executive's time and attention - building a strategic calendar with intent, not just availability
  • Prepare crisp pre-reads, decision memos, and post-meeting summaries that drive sharper thinking and faster decisions

2. OKR Ownership & Strategy-to-Execution Translation

  • Own the company-wide OKR framework - from annual objective-setting through quarterly reviews and weekly progress tracking
  • Translate Newpage's strategic priorities into measurable initiatives with clear owners, timelines, and success criteria across every function
  • Build and maintain a live strategy execution dashboard that gives the leadership team a single source of truth on where the company stands
  • Run cadenced OKR reviews - surfacing at- isk objectives, facilitating resource reallocation, and escalating blockers before they compound
  • Ensure the story from strategy to execution to outcomes is always clear, current, and accessible to the right people

3. Automated & Agentic Reporting Infrastructure

  • Design and deploy AI-powered reporting systems that give leadership automated real-time visibility into Growth, Delivery, Finance, and Talent without manual effort
  • Build agentic workflows that aggregate signals across functions - pipeline health, delivery utilization, hiring velocity, financial performance - and surface them as actionable intelligence
  • Own the transition from manual status updates and slide decks to automated, always-current reporting that scales with the business
  • Identify opportunities to deploy AI agents across internal operations: meeting summarization, action item tracking, cross-functional handoffs, and reporting loops
  • Establish and govern the data standards and tooling that make automated reporting reliable and trustworthy

4. Cross-Functional Connective Tissue - Sales, Delivery, Finance & HR/Talent

  • Own the operating integration between Sales/Growth, Delivery, Finance, and HR/Talent - the handoffs, shared metrics, and coordination rhythms that determine how well the business executes
  • Design and enforce clean handoff protocols between Sales and Delivery: what information transfers at contract close, how delivery capacity is signaled to growth, how engagement health feeds back to account expansion
  • Partner with Finance to ensure revenue forecasts, delivery costs, and headcount plans are aligned and updated in cadence with the business
  • Work with HR/Talent to connect hiring plans to delivery capacity models and growth pipeline – ensuring Newpage can staff what it sells
  • Identify systemic friction points across functions and build process and tooling solutions - not just meeting solutions
  • Create transparency across the org so that every function leader knows what matters to the others and can act accordingly

5. Organizational Rhythm & Operating Cadence

  • Design and run Newpage's leadership operating system - weekly syncs, monthly business reviews, quarterly planning, and annual strategy cycles
  • Ensure decisions made in meetings become clear actions with accountable owners and defined timelines
  • Own all-hands preparation, leadership offsites, and cross-functional working sessions - from agenda to output
  • Create and maintain an operating calendar that aligns the entire organization around the same rhythm

6. Cultural Leadership & Global Team Alignment

  • Act as a cultural steward for Newpage's global team - reinforcing values, operating principles, and a shared sense of direction across geographies and functions
  • Bring pragmatism to culture: not just vision statements, but the day- o-day behaviors, norms, and rituals that make a distributed team feel like one team
  • Identify friction between how the company says it operates and how it operates - and work constructively with leaders to close that gap
  • Support leadership in communicating strategy and change in ways that land clearly with a globally distributed workforce spanning delivery, growth, and technology teams
  • Foster cross-functional trust and transparency so that teams in different functions and geographies feel connected to the mission and to each other
  • Help the SLT model the culture it wants to build - from how decisions are communicated to how recognition happens to how feedback flows

What You Bring

  • 6-10 years of experience in strategy, operations, chief of staff, management consulting, or a comparable high-leverage cross-functional role
  • Demonstrated experience owning OKR frameworks, operating rhythms, and strategy-to-execution processes in a scaling organization
  • Proven ability to build and manage cross-functional operating integration - not just coordinate meetings, but design the systems that replace them
  • Hands-on fluency with AI tools and agentic workflows - you have built automated reporting, used LLM- powered tools in an operational context, or led an AI-native process redesign
  • Pragmatic decision-maker who moves with urgency, builds alignment without requiring consensus, and knows when good enough is better than perfect
  • Exceptional written communication - you write crisp memos, sharp one-pagers, and clear action plans without heavy editing
  • Experience in professional services, technology consulting, or a high-growth B2B environment
  • Strong financial and analytical literacy - you can read a P&L, stress-test a forecast, and translate numbers into narrative
  • Culturally fluent and effective with globally distributed teams - you communicate with clarity and respect across geographies, time zones, and functions
  • Direct experience supporting a senior executive in a fast-scaling or globally distributed organization
  • Exposure to life sciences, pharma, or healthcare technology - or a genuine drive to develop that context quickly
  • Familiarity with AWS ecosystem, AI/ML solution delivery, and technology partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive cultural alignment across distributed, cross-functional, and global teams
  • Experience building or managing automated business intelligence and reporting systems
