Overview

SmartaTutoring is expanding its internal team with a high‑performing Setter to manage a consistent flow of inbound leads from parents. This role focuses on real conversations with warm leads—no cold calling or spam.

Responsibilities

  • Remote role: work from a quiet, professional space.
  • Handle 15 warm inbound leads per day during weekend daytime hours (8 am‑8 pm).
  • Maintain short, 5–15 minute calls guided by proven frameworks.
  • Inbound only: no cold calls, prospecting, or chasing.
  • Complete full onboarding with structured training, frameworks, and 1:1 support.
  • Follow scripts and frameworks consistently to welcome qualified leads.
  • Start immediately after a 2–3 day training period.

Qualifications

  • Clear, confident communication and genuine care for people.
  • Calm under pressure with active listening skills.
  • Structured, organized with a daily flow focus.
  • Enjoy short, high‑frequency conversations with a simple goal.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, appointment setting, or outreach.
  • Motivated to move into a high‑performance closer role in the future.
  • Available weekdays and some weekend time (late morning to early evening).

  • No struggle to follow structured systems or manage time independently.
  • No dislike for fast‑paced conversations or repeatable daily tasks.
  • No need for micromanagement to stay productive.

Compensation & Progression

  • 15+ leads per day on weekends only (Saturday & Sunday).
  • Growth path: top performers move into high‑ticket closer roles earning £3K–£7K+.
  • Monthly pay plus performance bonuses.

Typical Day

  • 10:30 am – Log in, check Slack and CRM, prep for the day’s leads.
  • 11:00 am – Quick call with a parent who downloaded our guide yesterday.
  • 11:30 am–1:00 pm – 5 more calls back‑to‑back; 4 get booked for consultations.
  • 1:00 pm – CRM updates, KPIs logged, light follow‑ups.
  • 2:30 pm–4:30 pm – 6 more discovery chats, including a dad who says “this is exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
  • 6:00 pm – Final few calls of the day + wrap‑up.
