ROLE OVERVIEW As a Cloud Infrastructure Manager on our E-commerce platform team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a scalable and secure cloud infrastructure to support our online stores. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure seamless integration with our e-commerce applications and provide expert guidance on cloud architecture, migration, and optimization. You will report to our Head of Cloud Infrastructure and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation and improve customer experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES . Design and implement a scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure to support our E-commerce platform. . Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration with e-commerce applications and provide expert guidance on cloud architecture, migration, and optimization. . Develop and maintain cloud-based automated deployment tools and scripts to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of applications. . Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure resources to ensure optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and security. . Develop and implement a cloud security strategy to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer data. . Collaborate with DevOps teams to develop and implement a cloud-based monitoring and logging solution. . Identify opportunities for cloud cost optimization and implement cost-saving initiatives. . Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and runbooks. . Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement new technologies and solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cloud operations. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS . 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure. . Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. . Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including scalability, availability, and security. . Experience with cloud-based automation tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation. . Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience with cloud security frameworks. . Experience with cloud-based monitoring and logging solutions, such as AWS CloudWatch and Azure Monitor. . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions. . Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS . 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure. . Experience with cloud-based containerization, such as Docker and Kubernetes. . Strong knowledge of cloud-based data storage solutions, such as AWS S3 and Azure Blob Storage. . Experience with cloud-based data encryption and key management solutions, such as AWS Key Management Service and Azure Key Vault. . Strong knowledge of cloud-based identity and access management solutions, such as AWS IAM and Azure Active Directory. WHAT WE OFFER As a Cloud Infrastructure Manager on our E-commerce platform team, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
