Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Labourer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various construction projects, assisting with site preparation, material handling, and general labour tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the construction industry while contributing to diverse building projects. The ideal applicant will be physically fit, reliable, and eager to learn new skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with site setup and preparation, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
  • Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary tools and materials promptly
  • Carry out general labour tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials around the site
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by clearing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
  • Assist with the installation of structures, fixtures, and other components as directed
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to minimise risks on site
  • Operate basic machinery or tools under supervision as required

Experience

  • Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures within a construction environment
  • Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools is desirable
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks on‑site

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Graduate Visa – To be eligible for Sponsorship

Job Type: Full‑time

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
