FUEL THE FUTURE: Content & Media Manager

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Works With: Founders, Brand Team, Content Creators, Digital, Commercial, and Agency Partners

Employment Eligibility: Must have full right to work in the UK

We’re on a mission to spread positive energy and help people feel their best - energised, focused, and ready to take on the day, without compromise. We\'re the UK\'s fastest-growing energy drink brand and Europe\'s leading matcha company, redefining what energy should feel like: no crashes, no junk - just matcha\'s clean caffeine to fuel your best self.

Inspired by co-founder Marisa\'s journey with ADHD, anxiety, and burnout, PerfectTed was built to offer a better way to power through life - with calm focus, not chaos. Join our founder-led team as we scale and share our story with the world.

At PerfectTed, we believe in PRICE - our core virtues that shape everything we do:

Progress - We embrace growth, learning, and continuous improvement.

Resilience - Challenges don\'t stop us; they push us to be better.

Intensity - We move fast and execute with passion and purpose.

Consistency - Greatness comes from showing up every day.

Entrepreneurialism - We take ownership, think outside the box, and find solutions.

Role Overview

PerfectTed isn’t just a food and beverage company - we’re a media brand that happens to sell matcha. Storytelling is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s our co-founders’ journey from burnout to balance, the daily lives of our consumers, or the rich cultural story of matcha itself, we believe content is how we build connection, community, and brand.

We’re looking for an experienced and visionary Content & Media Manager with experience across multiple brands. This is not your typical F&B marketing role - it’s a creative leadership position for someone who understands how to build brand equity through narrative, culture, and platform mastery.

You’ll lead the development and execution of a media-first content strategy, integrating storytelling, digital innovation, and performance thinking across all channels. You won’t be creating content yourself - but you’ll orchestrate the team and agency partners to deliver high-impact, high-quality content at scale. You\'ll embed smart AI tools to optimise output, and help us build a content ecosystem that becomes the brand and adds real value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve PerfectTed’s content strategy across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more
  • Build, maintain, and communicate a dynamic editorial calendar with input from all key stakeholders
  • Shape content pillars and formats aligned to business priorities (launches, retail, PR, founder, community)
  • Weave brand storytelling into every channel - from founder-led narratives to community-driven formats

Content Performance & Measurement

  • Define content KPIs, benchmarks, and reporting cadence across platforms
  • Track and monitor performance obsessively
  • Use data to guide creative decisions, posting strategies, and platform priorities
  • Lead regular performance reviews and translate insights into action for channel and team optimisation
  • Track impact of content on brand awareness, audience growth, engagement, and conversion
  • Lead the integration of AI tools for creative ideation, copywriting, planning, editing, and analytics
  • Build replicable processes that enable fast, high-quality content delivery at scale
  • Train the team on AI best practices and continuously explore new tech to improve efficiency
  • Manage content creators, freelancers, agencies and production partners
  • Write and oversee briefs for shoots, campaigns, and content series
  • Lead internal content meetings and contribute to broader marketing planning
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure content aligns with brand, growth, PR, product and commercial teams
  • Stay ahead of content and platform trends, creator behaviours, and pop culture
  • Shape PerfectTed’s distinct tone of voice and visual world across media formats
  • Spot trends early and develop real-time and planned content responses
  • Champion big ideas that grow brand fame, visibility and resonance

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years in senior content, editorial, or creative strategy roles
  • Experience across multiple brands
  • Proven success leading content strategy for consumer brands across multiple platforms
  • Experience scaling content systems and managing high-output content teams
  • Strong understanding of audience development, brand storytelling, and performance marketing
  • Demonstrated use of AI in content operations and experimentation
  • Familiar with tools such as Notion, CapCut, Adobe Suite, Canva and Figma

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience building founder or personality-driven brand content

The Ideal Candidate Is:

  • A strategic thinker who views content as an engine for brand value not just marketing
  • Passionate about culture, narrative, and making content that shapes perception
  • Driven by the opportunity to build a brand that uses content in a different way
  • An empowering team leader who thrives on collaboration and creativity

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary + EMI options scheme (real equity upside in the UK’s fastest-growing brand)
  • Career development budget – courses, coaching, and tools to grow your career
  • Stunning office in Shoreditch shared with inspiring talent (Flight Story, Steven Bartlett, and more)
  • All the matcha you can drink – stay fuelled, the PerfectTed way

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

With this question, companies are looking to see what equipment they may need to provide you with and to verify how aware you are of what remote working could mean for you physically and logistically...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

8. HOW TO PRIORITIZE WORK?

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
