About the Role

The B-Hive is an in-house creative agency bringing to life the creative needs of some of the most recognizable brands in the beauty industry including No7, Soap & Glory, Liz Earle and Boots own brand. We combine the capability of an external creative and production team, with the speed, flexibility, and in-depth brand knowledge of an in-house set-up, underpinned by years of experience dedicated to Boots and No7 Beauty Company.

As a Creative Producer within the B-Hive you will own photography and video productions for multiple brands within The Boots Group from concept development to on-set execution. You will translate a creative concept into a detailed production brief, coordinate our production partners, all while overseeing all stages of production. You will work across our in-house production studio and oversee multiple external agency production partners being one of the leading central voices of production in our team.

The ideal candidate has strong technical production knowledge, experience running shoots, excellent communication skills and a proactive creative approach to delivering high-quality content in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You are just as comfortable in a client call dissecting deliverables and marketing strategies as you are directing stylists or talent on set.

Key responsibilities

  • Accountable for producing photography and video shoots for multiple brands while overseeing creative generation of CG/AI assets
  • Developing relationships with clients, presenting creative and leading production calls such as response to briefs and pre-production meetings
  • Writing quality production briefs translating a brands vision into a detailed shot list, styling and capturing any technical requirements
  • Briefing stylists, photographers, videographers, CGI, creatives and retouch
  • Creating and maintaining all key project documents such as timelines, budgets, casting and permits
  • Liaising with external suppliers to arrange services or resources
  • Attending shoots and being the brand representative on set, product and brand integrity sits with you
  • Supporting Lead Creative Producer on large scale campaigns
  • Supporting wider team on content planning, creative ideation and escalations as a trusted voice in the team
  • Line management of junior producer to support their development and progression
What you'll need to have (Our Must-Haves)
  • A good technical understanding of production that allows you to interrogate briefs and make sound creative decisions
  • Experience working in a creative setting with a passion for all elements of production such as design, copy, artwork, styling, photography, video and CGI
  • Experience running shoots and a good understanding of studio operations
  • Able to ease between multi-formats blending traditional and new methods for truly hybrid productions
  • Pro-active nature when solving problems, always one step ahead anticipating client and creative team needs. Not afraid to challenge and the calm head in the room
  • Flexibility to work under pressure and the ability to work in a highly matrixed organisation
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders across the business
  • Enthusiastic about supporting creative excellence and brand consistency
