Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in Operations, where you’ll play a vital role in keeping our store running smoothly behind the scenes. We’re looking for hardworking individuals who take pride in ensuring our products are delivered, organised, and ready for our colleagues and customers.

Working Pattern

Week 1

  • Monday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Thursday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Friday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Saturday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Week 2

  • Sunday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Monday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Thursday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Friday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Purpose

To deliver a great shopping experience for our customers, we are looking for colleagues who put customers before tasks every time whilst championing and promoting our brilliant products.

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve our customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points
  • Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring shelves are stocked with product
  • Monitor and deliver on the daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service
  • Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services
  • Training to utilise digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer
