Salary: £22,865 per year plus OTE £5,040 per annum (Pro Rata)

Contract: Permanent, full time (35 hours)

Shift Pattern: 4-day week (Sun-Weds)

Location: REMOTE – working from home (Hybrid options available)

Purpose of the role: you will be the first point of contact for customers who call in for help with their Sky equipment. You will represent and promote Sky Protect products to customers, guiding them to the best options for their needs. You will take inbound calls from SKY’s warm customer base and deliver excellent service while driving sales in a supportive environment.

About the role
This vacancy is in one of our Sky Inbound sales teams. The department is a lively, energetic, sales-driven environment with coaching and development support, plus sales incentives and initiatives. The 4-day week offers a fixed shift pattern from Sunday to Wednesday to support work-life balance. Remote working from home is available with broadband access required; hybrid working is an option if you live within a commutable distance from our Nottingham office.

Training
We offer a virtual training experience over a 5-week period. Training hours are 8:00-17:30 on Sun & Mon, 8:00-18:00 on Tue & Wed. Training includes L&D sessions, e-learning, call listening, and practice to build sales capability.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls from Sky customers, understand their needs, and recommend Sky Protect products where appropriate
  • Provide excellent customer service while achieving sales targets
  • Build rapport with customers and demonstrate empathy through clear communication
  • Be a resilient multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple targets and work well in a team

Qualifications and attributes

  • Proven experience in a home-based position or a similar autonomous role; targeted sales or customer service experience is essential
  • Strong customer service and sales skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to understand the customer perspective and build rapport
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a confident multi-tasker
