Customer Service Specialist | Bradford, UK

Customer Service Specialist JHE & Partners are working with a successful manufacturing business in Bradford who are looking for a customer service professional to join their team on a 3 month, temporary basis. This role can will go permanent, should the candidate be interested. Note this role is fully office-based. Working in an existing team of three, the chosen candidate will have a high level of customer service, ideally working within a manufacturing business. There is a strong emphasis on supply chain management and operations within this role, therefore candidates with exposure across these areas would have strong appeal. Duties include: • Providing first class customer service with full autonomy overseeing an allocated customer list • Overseeing the supply chain from 'cradle-to-grave', ensuring smooth transition of work completion at all times • Plan jobs in accordance with the site's production schedule and warehouse capacity • Liaising with wider operations teams including, production, quality, finance and warehouse attending to and rectifying any queries and anomalies that may arise • Close liaison with customers, keeping them abreast of projects and orders • Managing all component supply - both incoming and outgoing • Handling all customer requests, creating stock sheets and managing stock counts • Forecasting any short-term demand, driving warehouse efficiency • Ad hoc duties as expected working in a fast-paced and thriving facility Candidates with experience and understanding of supply chain cycles would be of high interest to the client. It is imperative the chosen candidate can demonstrate an excellent calibre of customer service and wider operations duties. Experience of SAP and ERP systems would be useful as well as working with senior management and wider internal teams. Full training will be given.
