Location: Brighton, East Sussex, Hybrid

Hours: Full-time

Contract: 3-month Fixed Term Contract

Pay: £13.85 per hour


An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Customer Support Associate to join one of our longstanding clients, a growing technology-led business based in Brighton.


This is a 3-month FTC suited to an experienced customer service professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will support customers across phone, email and live chat, resolving queries efficiently while delivering a friendly and professional customer experience.

The Requirements

  • Previous customer service or customer support experience
  • Confident providing support via telephone, email and live chat
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong administrative and IT skills
  • Ability to accurately maintain customer records and update internal systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident managing multiple customer queries and priorities
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working towards SLAs and KPIs
  • Previous experience within a regulated environment would be advantageous
  • Financial services or insurance experience would be beneficial but is not essential


The Role

  • Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email and live chat
  • Provide timely, professional and friendly customer support
  • Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate information and solutions
  • Maintain accurate customer information and records on internal systems
  • Support customers with account and service-related changes
  • Complete associated customer administration accurately
  • Work towards agreed service levels and customer support KPIs
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey
  • Resolve customer issues using initiative and effective problem-solving
  • Escalate more complex enquiries where appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business
  • Provide additional administrative and customer support when required
  • Follow relevant regulatory, compliance and internal procedures
