Fortnum & Mason’s iconic Food Hall, nestled on the Lower Ground Floor of our Piccadilly flagship store, is celebrated for offering some of the finest and most distinctive deli creations in London. From our hand-folded pies and freshly made pasta to our legendary Scotch eggs and gourmet sandwiches, every item is crafted with care, speed, and a commitment to excellence. Sourced from exceptional independent producers and prepared daily by our expert team, our deli counters are a destination for culinary delight.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled** Deli Food Preparation Exper**t to join our team on a permanent contract, working 16 hours per week in the heart of Piccadilly. Shifts will run Monday to Thursday, mornings only (4 hours per day).

What You\'ll Do:

  • Follow recipes and preparation guidelines to maintain quality and compliance
  • Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene, stock, and display
  • Work closely with other departments to maintain high standards
  • Produce a high volume of freshly prepared items while showcasing our signature bagels, savoury small bites, and vibrant, seasonal salads—all crafted with speed, precision, and care
  • Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours, ensuring that every item is made to exacting standards without compromising quality or presentation
  • Deliver a warm, personalised luxury experience to every customer

What We\'re Looking For:

  • Experience in a fast paced, high volume environment ideally within a deli or similar environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standard
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
  • Outstanding communication skills
