Designer / Project Manager — Bespoke Joinery
<p><strong>Park Royal, London NW10 · Full-time, permanent (PAYE) · £45,000–55,000 </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>About us</strong></p><p><strong>WoodArt Joinery is a bespoke joinery workshop in Park Royal. We're a team of 15 producing high-end fitted furniture for leading London interior design studios and architects — whole-house schemes, wardrobes, libraries, kitchens, panelling.</strong></p><p><strong>Everything happens under one roof: in-house spray finishing, CNC, shop drawing production and our own installation teams. We don't sub out the finish, which is why we can control quality from drawing to handover.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>The role</strong></p><p><strong>A hybrid design and delivery role, roughly:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>60% technical documentation:</strong> shop drawings, production sheets, cutting and material lists, preparing drawing packs for designer approval.</li><li><strong>40% project delivery:</strong> site surveys, coordinating bench and spray, programme, liaising with the designer and main contractor, overseeing installation.</li></ul><p>You'll own your projects from order confirmation to handover — accountable for dimensions being right, materials being right, and dates being met.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p><ul><li>1+ years in bespoke furniture, fitted joinery or similar</li><li>Confident in CAD — AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, SketchUp or similar (tell us which)</li><li>Working knowledge of boards, veneers, lacquers, ironmongery (Blum / Hettich / Häfele) and installation tolerances</li><li><strong>Fluent English</strong> — daily contact with designers and main contractors</li><li><strong>Polish language</strong>: professional working proficiency — day-to-day communication with our workshop and installation teams is conducted in Polish</li></ul><p><strong>What we offer</strong></p><ul><li>Permanent contract, weekly salary, 28 days holiday, workplace pension</li><li>Mon–Fri, 8:00–16:00. </li><li>Dual-monitor workstation, licensed software</li><li>Genuine input into how we work — we're rolling out new drawing and scheduling standards and want you shaping them</li><li>Route to running a larger share of production as the business grows</li></ul><p><strong>How to apply</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Send your CV plus 2–3 examples of shop drawings you've produced (PDF) to contact@woodartjoinery.com</strong>.
