Digital Marketing & Content Assistant (Part-time, 10-15-20h, Remote)

Job Summary

A London-based Vietnamese street food business (Bánh Mì Café) offering catering, and online takeaway delivery. We are launching online catering ordering direct from our own website and want a Digital Marketing & Content Assistant to help customers find us and order. This is a part-time, remote role, around 10-15-20 hours a week with flexibility. Students are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Help build and update our website with online ordering (Shopify, Squarespace or similar)
  • Post and grow our Instagram, TikTok and Facebook accounts, including short videos and food photography
  • Schedule posts, reply to followers and report on engagement
  • Manage our Google Business Profile and encourage customer reviews
  • Improve our search visibility with local SEO and basic keyword research
  • Run simple email campaigns to offices and businesses to win catering orders
  • Design menus, flyers, packaging and social graphics (Canva or similar)
  • Support simple online ads and track results (Google Analytics, Google Ads or Meta Ads)
  • Send a short monthly report on followers, website visits and online orders

Requirements

  • Experience or a strong interest in social media, content creation and digital marketing
  • Experience with a website builder such as Shopify, Squarespace or WordPress
  • Basic design skills (Canva, Photoshop or similar)
  • Clear, friendly written English, and the ability to write copy for different audiences
  • A portfolio or examples of your work (personal accounts are fine)
  • Organised and reliable, able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and basic SEO is a plus
  • Experience with food, hospitality or B2B email marketing is a plus
  • Must have the right to work in the UK. We check documents before the start date.

Pay and hours

  • £13–£15 per hour, depending on experience
  • About 10 hours per week, flexible and mostly remote
  • Paid monthly through payroll
