Digital Marketing Executive | Eighty Eight Digital - Blisworth, Northampton

  • £27,000 to £30,000 (depending on experience)
  • Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours a week
  • Office-based, set in the Northamptonshire countryside
  • Reporting to the Operations Director
  • Though working closely with SEO, PPC and web specialists

About the job

Are you the kind of marketer who proactively delves into a client's analytics dashboard to see what is really driving performance? Somebody who can jump from a on–page SEO audit into a PPC budget review without hesitation.

If so, let’s talk.

We're Eighty Eight Digital, an agency who pride ourselves on transparency, service delivery, client care and real results. And we're looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to work alongside our SEO, PPC and web specialists.

This is a genuinely hands-on role for someone with 1 to 3 years in digital marketing, agency-side or in-house, who wants to delve further into how all the pieces of digital marketing (SEO, PPC, web and social) fit together to drive actual return-on-investment for a client. We work with a diverse client base, from skincare and wellness brands through to SaaS and tech companies, and no two weeks ever look the same.

Aims

This role exists to do these three things well:

  • Take real work off our specialists' plates, not just admin, but genuine campaign delivery.
  • Build you into a true all-rounder, someone who understands digital marketing end to end before specialising in a certain area.
  • Though most importantly, play a key role in helping deliver truly impactful digital marketing services to our clients.

The day-to-day

  • Supporting SEO, PPC and social - Keyword, prompt and topical research for SEO and AI performance. On-page optimisation. Content creation and uploading. Building, editing and monitoring PPC and Paid Social campaigns, ad copy and budgets under specialist guidance. Link-building and outreach. Setting up and tracking A/B tests. We want you to gain exposure to as much as possible, to work out where your passion truly lies.
  • Reporting that actually gets read - Building and maintaining client reports within Google Data Studio, using data from; GA4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, conversion tracking and rank-tracking tools. Helping our specialists spot trends early, to then raise to the clients and inform the overarching strategy.
  • Web and client projects - Website updates and on-page changes across WordPress, Shopify and CMS platforms generally. Testing new pages and features as part of a CRO strategy, flagging issues to our web design specialist. Jumping into wider client projects wherever an extra pair of hands is useful.
  • General execution - Social scheduling, email builds, competitor and industry research, staying genuinely curious about where digital marketing is heading (especially with AI’s emergence).
  • Ongoing development - Shadowing SEO, PPC and web design specialists. Working towards certifications with Google and Meta. Working with your manager to find the area of marketing you genuinely love and want to progress into.

The package

£27,000 to £30,000, depending on experience. On top of that:

  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
  • One paid day a year to do something for charity as a part of our ‘Eighty Eight for Good’ initiative
  • Pension scheme
  • Free on-site parking
  • Free gym membership
  • Access to BUPA health care after 1 year of service
  • Annual salary reviews, with regular check-ins on your progression along the way
  • Access to training and certifications, along with annual brightonSEO/conference trips
  • Mentoring from SEO, PPC, web design and client management specialists

The working environment we’ve created is one of our proudest achievements. We genuinely pride ourselves on the culture we’ve built, and that’s not just by having beers in the drinks fridge or a Nintendo Switch that you can use on your lunch. We go beyond that, and we’re proud of what we’ve built.
