Dog Sitter - Having Dogs to stay in your home

Company description

We Love Pets Cambridge offers professional, reliable, and fully insured dog walking and pet care services, from pet visits to dog boarding, puppy visits to exotic pet care, doggy daycare and so much more.

Job description

We Love Pets Cambridge is one of the UK’s welfare-first, premier pet care companies and we are looking for an enthusiastic, caring animal lover to join our multiple award-winning business.

Do you love dogs? Do you work from home? Or are you retired? Then being a part-time pawrent could be for you!

We currently have an exciting opportunity to take on a We Love Pets home boarder, the perfect opportunity for a dog lover to offer a home-away-from-home for our lovely pups!

All boarders are licensed, DBS checked (Paid by company) and pet first aid trained – we will help you and train you with all of these elements. It is important to us that our customers feel reassured that their pets are in the best hands, so you need to be ready to welcome their furry friends into your home and treat them as though they are your own.

You can expect to have one, two or three dogs stay with you at a time so you will need to ensure that if you have your own animals, they would be happy to share their space. The more dogs you can board, the more you will earn.

The benefits of being a home boarder:

· Great for your wellbeing

· Amazing companionship, you get to look after some lovely dogs

· Good exercise

· Costs covered and earning opportunities

· Flexible schedule

· Uniform provided for dog walks

· Be part of a supportive, friendly team

· An opportunity to build a relationship with some great dogs and be their home away from home

To become a boarder with us, you should:

· Be Cambridge based or live within a 10 mile radius of Cambridge.

· Have excellent communication skills

· Be able to share photos of the dogs with the customers

· Have a car

· Have an enclosed rear garden

· Have a house

· Not have cats

· Not be away for more than 4 hours at a time

If this sounds like the role for you then we’d absolutely love you to apply! Or if you have further questions, just drop us a message and we’d be happy to discuss it further.
