E-Commerce Manager & Shopify Specialist (Full-time)

We’re Event Merchandising, a company with over 40 years of experience in developing and selling merchandise for global brands and events. As the official licensing partner for iconic names, working with global brands including 007, Harley-Davidson, and UEFA, we deliver exceptional customer experiences through creative products and seamless online shopping.

We’re looking for a dynamic & experienced e-commerce manager to join our team and lead the management and growth of multiple Shopify stores. This is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise in e-commerce to an innovative and fast-paced environment where you’ll have the chance to make a real impact on the success of multiple high-profile online shops.

This is a standalone role — you'll own the e-commerce function end-to-end, with access to designers and developers as needed.

Key Responsibilities

As our E-commerce & Shopify Manager, you’ll:

  • Take ownership of several Shopify stores, ensuring they run efficiently and meet business goals.
  • Manage product listings, including uploading new products, writing compelling descriptions, and maintaining an accurate and appealing product catalog.
  • Optimize store performance through data-driven decisions, improving site functionality, load times, and customer experience.
  • Run marketing campaigns to execute promotions, campaigns, and SEO strategies to drive traffic and sales.
  • Monitor analytics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase sales and customer retention.
  • Handle integrations with apps, payment gateways, inventory systems, and shipping platforms.
  • Oversee customer experience, ensuring smooth navigation, checkout, and post-purchase processes.
  • Coordinate with designers and developers to enhance site design and functionality, ensuring the stores reflect each brand’s unique identity.
  • Stay updated on e-commerce and Shopify trends to maintain a competitive edge.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in managing Shopify stores, with a strong understanding of the platform's features and customizations (required)
  • Proficient in e-commerce tools, including Google Analytics, Shopify apps, SEO tools, and email marketing platforms (required)
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Skilled in data analysis, able to turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Creative and detail-oriented, with a flair for presenting products in the best possible way.
  • A proactive interest in applying AI tools to e-commerce
  • A problem-solver with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Experience working on 7-figure turnover stores.
  • Knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, or Shopify Liquid (preferred but not essential).
  • Familiar with licensing and merchandise (a plus, but not required).

Salary Range: 39-45k

Pay: £39,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
