Ecommerce Marketplace & Operations Manager

Location: East London (Hybrid with 2-3 days per week in the office)

Salary: £40,000-£50,000 (depending on experience)

Honest Dog Company is a dog supplement company focused on clean label, efficacy, and taste. In just 2.5 years we’ve grown from a bedroom brand to one of the fastest-growing pet brands in the UK - now processing over 6,000 orders a month across multiple channels.

We’re looking for our first full-time in-house hire: a Marketplace & Operations Manager to work directly alongside our founder. You’ll help run the day-to-day of the business so the founder can focus on growth. This role is perfect for someone who’s ambitious, hands-on, and wants to learn the inside track of building a successful DTC brand.

What you’ll do:

Amazon & Marketplaces

  • Report on key metrics (sales, spend, rankings, ACOS/ROAS) using our tools and processes.
  • Update and optimise product listings (titles, A+ content, keywords, imagery).
  • Assist with new product launches and spotting opportunities for future products.
  • Manage the launch of EU marketplace expansion.
  • Manage orders and product setup on Tesco and B&Q marketplaces.

TikTok Shop

  • Coordinate with live presenters and agencies to ensure schedules run smoothly.
  • Work with our content creator to post organic TikTok content daily.
  • Ensure our account and listings follow TikTok’s T&Cs.
  • Help build out the TikTok affiliate programme: onboard, organise, and support creators.

D2C Shopify

  • Keep product listings up to date (titles, pricing, images, descriptions).
  • Check the site regularly for errors or broken links, flag issues to the team.
  • Manage promotions (discount codes, bundles, seasonal offers).
  • Monitor key metrics in Shopify (conversion rate, AOV, refunds/returns) and share insights.
  • Liaise with 3PL to make sure D2C orders are dispatched on time and customer experience is smooth.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

  • Monitor stock levels at our 3PL and Amazon to prevent stockouts.
  • Forecast demand and raise purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Liaise with suppliers on lead times, orders, and pricing.

Customer Service & Email

  • Handle light customer service on email and marketplaces.
  • Respond to comments on our Meta ads.
  • Send a weekly campaign email to our customer list and ensure our current flows run smoothly in Klaviyo.

What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years’ experience in eCommerce (marketplaces, DTC, or similar).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with data analysis in Excel/Sheets.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and staying on top of deadlines.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Marketplace or Amazon experience is a bonus, but not required. We’ll teach you our processes.
  • Hungry and passionate about building the brand.
