Overview

The Casual Transcription Editor is responsible for editing and proofreading transcriptions of court proceedings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards. This role involves managing confidential documents, providing litigation support, and collaborating with legal professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and proofread transcriptions of court proceedings to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Manage confidential documents related to court cases and proceedings.
  • Provide litigation support by organizing and managing case files, evidence, and other legal materials.
  • Collaborate with legal professionals to ensure accurate and complete reporting of court proceedings.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and procedures in transcription editing.
  • Conduct legal reporting to support court cases and provide relevant information to legal professionals.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain the integrity of transcriptions.
  • Support office administration tasks related to transcription editing and proofreading.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Associate\\\'s or Bachelor\\\'s degree in a related field.

Experience

  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience in transcription editing or a related field.
  • Preferred: Experience in a similar role within the legal industry.
