Job Summary

English Online is aimed at adults and upper secondary students worldwide, who are committed to improving their English. Classes are designed around real-life topics and students undertake practical language tasks in group and private classes. It offers a flexible timetable, personalised learning paths and globally connected classrooms.

Our client is looking for adaptable online teachers who enjoy being a part of new innovations in online teaching.

They are looking for teachers who have experience teaching both Adults and Upper Secondary-aged students online (in group and/or private classes). The aim of these courses is to support students in developing the language skills they need to improve their employability and study opportunities.

Teaching hours may vary and are allocated based on learner demand and course scheduling.

Successful applicants will not be employed directly by the British Council. Individuals will be engaged on hourly-paid contracts by an agency in their country. Introductions to the agencies and any subsequent engagement will be managed by Guidant Global, an outsourced recruitment partner in the UK.

At present, we can accept applications from individuals who currently reside in, and have the right to work in, the UK, Canada, Thailand, India or the USA (Only Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas

Online Teaching Experience: Minimum 2 years (Upper Secondary-aged students or Adults)

Applicants must be able to provide details of their teaching employment history to evidence the required minimum of 2 years' online teaching experience (Upper Secondary-aged students or Adults)
