The leading consultancy firm has partnered with an esteemed global airline company and they are seeking for a Microsoft Entra ID Security Expert to join on a 12-month hybrid contract based in London (2-3 days on-site), with an on-call requirement. This is a hands-on, customer-facing delivery role responsible for implementing and operationalising the Entra ID architecture, leading the configuration, tuning, and rollout of Entra ID security and governance features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage Conditional Access policies using user/sign-in risk, device compliance, and location conditions, alongside MFA, Passwordless (FIDO2), Identity Protection risk policies, and PIM role assignments and activation workflows
  • Deploy and configure Entra Identity Governance including Lifecycle Workflows (Joiner/Mover/Leaver), Entitlement Management, Access Packages, and Access Reviews across apps, groups, and privileged roles
  • Implement user and group provisioning using Entra ID Provisioning Service, SCIM connectors, and Microsoft Graph API, building approval and exception handling workflows via Logic Apps and Power Automate
  • Onboard applications using SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect, and configure B2B Collaboration, Cross-Tenant Access, and External Identity controls
  • Execute Identity-as-Code using PowerShell and Graph API, deploy Entra changes via CI/CD pipelines, and support customer go-lives, change management, and identity-related incidents


Required Skills/Qualifications: 

  • 7-10+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, with strong implementation expertise across Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and PIM
  • Proven experience deploying Entra Identity Governance - Lifecycle Workflows, Entitlement Management, and Access Reviews - mapped to business roles and compliance requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Entra ID Provisioning Service, SCIM connectors, and Microsoft Graph API for user and group provisioning
  • Strong PowerShell and Graph API skills for Identity-as-Code automation and CI/CD pipeline deployment of Entra configuration changes
  • Customer-facing delivery experience with the ability to lead go-lives, manage identity-related incidents, and collaborate directly with client stakeholders
