Rainham Steel have an exciting opportunity for an Evening Shift Machine Operator to join the team.

Location: Rainham Steel Co Ltd, Essex, RM13 9PF

Starting Salary: £17.00 per hour, increasing to £18.00 per hour after training

Evening shift allowance: £25 per night once training completed

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 5:30pm – 1:30am, 37.5 hours per week

Evening Shift Machine Operator – The Role

  • Reporting to the evening shift warehouse manager
  • Operating machinery that automatically shapes reinforcing bar
  • Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
  • Load the machine, set different shapes and quality check the finished product
  • Assemble bundles for packing
  • Flexible to do paid overtime when necessary

Evening Shift Machine Operator – You

  • Physically able to cope with reasonable manual handling
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written
  • Organised and motivated
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of people
  • Able to work in a fast-paced pressurised environment
  • You must have a good command of the English language
  • Must be a good timekeeper
