Executive Assistant - hybrid

We have an excellent opportunity for a polished and experienced EA to join a small, established family office in Mayfair, supporting a UHNW Principal and his family.

This is a genuinely traditional EA role, offering a lovely balance of business and private support, with excellent working hours and a fantastic work/life balance. This is not a 24/7 position and there is no expectation to be constantly connected outside of working hours.

The office is small and quiet, making this role particularly well suited to someone who is self-sufficient, confident working independently and enjoys having ownership of their work. It's an ideal opportunity for an EA who has a fulfilling life outside of work and is looking for a high-quality, well-paid role with a predictable 9–5 structure.

THE ROLE

Working closely with the Principal, you will provide a broad range of business and private support, including:

  • Managing a busy inbox and multiple diaries
  • Coordinating extensive international travel for the Principal and his family
  • Managing travel arrangements around school holidays and half terms
  • Liaising with nannies and other household staff
  • Managing a portfolio of rental properties
  • Supporting investment partners where required
  • Conducting ad hoc research and assisting with projects
  • Handling a variety of personal and household requests
  • Coordinating car servicing and maintenance
  • Providing general PA support across both business and family life

No two days will be exactly the same, and there will inevitably be some of the more unusual and varied requests that come with supporting a UHNW family.

A full driving licence is essential, and you should be comfortable driving larger vehicles, including a 4x4 and Porsche, when required for servicing, maintenance and other practical arrangements.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone polished, articulate and confident, ideally with previous experience supporting a UHNW individual, family office, entrepreneur or senior executive on a 1:1 basis.

You will be:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident managing multiple priorities independently
  • Articulate and professional in your communication
  • Naturally proactive and able to anticipate needs
  • Comfortable working in a small, quiet office environment
  • Confident enough to push back and challenge when appropriate
  • Discreet and comfortable handling highly confidential information
  • Happy managing both business and personal responsibilities

Family office or UHNW experience would be highly advantageous, although a strong 1:1 EA with the right attitude and skillset will also be considered.

THE ENVIRONMENT

Based in a beautiful Mayfair office, this is a small, calm and professional environment. You will work closely with the Principal and have a high degree of autonomy, rather than being part of a large, busy EA team.

For the right person, it's a chance to really get your head down, do a great job and enjoy a genuinely excellent work/life balance.

There is also flexibility to work from home when travelling, alongside the usual Friday WFH arrangement.
