About Our Finance Summer Internship Programme – Starting July 2027
Kick off your commercial finance career at Sky with our eight-week Summer Internship, right here in Osterley, West London. Get hands-on with real business projects, explore how finance powers innovation and entertainment, work with brilliant teams, and present your ideas to senior leaders. Stand out, and you could land a spot on our 2028 Graduate Programme.

What you\'ll be getting up to during our Insight Week

  • Opportunities to shadow current Finance Graduates.
  • Complete a real-life Finance project.
  • Explanation of the CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) qualification, including top tips on how to be successful from current employees in Finance.
  • An insight into our Finance Summer Internship programme, including how to set and track budgets, develop business cases to support projects, and how to interpret data.
  • Learn tips on how to succeed in our application process.
  • Connect with people working at Sky, from graduates to senior managers and develop your network. Hear about their experiences and how they went from university to working life.

Friday 17th April of this Insight Week will be dedicated to an Assessment Centre for our 2027 Finance Summer Internship programme.
What we\'re looking for

We\'re looking for first-year undergraduates (or second-year students on a four-year course) from any subject who are keen to explore a career in commercial Finance. Successful candidates must have the right to work in the UK by the time our Finance Summer Internship kicks off in July 2027. Unfortunately, we can\'t offer sponsorship for these roles.

The application process

Step 1
– Submit your application on our system. We\'ll ask for your personal details, academic information, and anything else you think would be relevant, such as work experience.

Once your application has been submitted, you\'ll be invited to complete our immersivendigital assessments. This may land in your junk folder, so don\'t forget to check it.

Step 2
– Complete our online digital assessments. These help us understand how you think, solve problems and approach different situations. Head to our Prep Hub to get to know the assessments before you start.

You\'ll also have the chance to practise each one, including the immersive online test and the numerical reasoning test, so make sure to check the email we\'ve sent you for all the details. We\'ve added some tips to help you feel confident on the day.

Applications are due to close on 16th March 2026, however, if there are high volumes of applications, we may close early. The earliest date we will close applications is 2nd March 2026.
