Finance Assistant – Global PR Business

Are you a Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant looking to work for a rapidly growing Global Communications and PR business? This growing company are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant to help deliver accurate and timely day-to-day accounting support for this rapidly growing international public relations group. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, specific responsibilities include: processing supplier invoices and employee expense claims, managing accounts payable and supplier queries, raising sales invoices and supporting credit control activities, posting bank entries and performing bank reconciliations, supporting payroll administration and employee finance queries, maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting audit requests, supporting the Financial Controller with monthly finance processes and reporting tasks and ad hoc tasks and projects as required. Your duties and responsibilities will increase over time as your role develops and progresses as the business grows. The firm offers hybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 days home working. The firm use Sage although full training can be provided.

To be considered for this newly created role (October 2026) you must be a Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant or currently working in practice and looking to make your first move into industry. You must have at least 2 years relevant finance experience, with strong bookkeeping experience and knowledge of areas such as Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Bank reconciliations. Experience of Sage would be an advantage but not essential. You must also be a team player, sociable, and ambitious with aspirations to progress and take on more responsibility in a short space of time.
