Location Central London Hours Full Time - Flexible working patterns available including hybrid working with a minimum of 60% office attendance Salary £57,946 per annum plus £16,786 employer contribution towards Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme About the Role Join the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) as a Finance Business Partner supporting a portfolio valued at over £3bn across diverse commercial contracts including contact centres, banking, travel, resourcing, logistics, and document management. This fast-paced role places you at the heart of decision-making for some of DWP’s most critical contracts. As a Finance Business Partner, you will provide professional financial advice and strategic insight on commercial contracts and strategy, acting as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders. Your responsibilities will cover the full commercial lifecycle including delivery model assessment, pricing mechanism design, procurement support, tender evaluation, supplier viability assessment, and in-life contract management. You will work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams across the department, contributing to robust financial governance, value for money, and compliance with Managing Public Money and the Cabinet Office Sourcing Playbook. This leadership role offers opportunities for personal growth, team development, and fostering a culture of partnership and continuous improvement. The role supports hybrid working arrangements, with the contractual office as your base and flexibility to work from home part of the week. Travel may be required occasionally.
