Role Description The Firefighter role at Cotswold Airport is a full-time, on-site position based in Kemble. The Firefighter will provide aviation fire and rescue cover, responding to aircraft and airfield incidents, medical emergencies, and other safety-critical situations.

Day-to-day tasks include maintaining readiness of firefighting vehicles and equipment, performing routine inspections of fire safety systems, and conducting regular training drills and exercises. The role also involves supporting airfield operations by monitoring safety conditions, assisting with incident prevention measures, and participating in emergency planning. The Firefighter will work within a team, follow established procedures and regulations, and engage with airport staff, visitors, and stakeholders in a professional and safety-focused manner.
