We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and qualified Fitness Instructor to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role covering the gym floor, recovery facilities and Juice Bar.

You will support our members, maintain the safety and presentation of the facilities, complete approved recovery tasks and provide excellent customer service.

The Role

Gym Floor

  • Maintain a visible, approachable and professional presence on the gym floor.
  • Complete regular floor walks and ensure walkways and emergency routes remain clear.
  • Support members with equipment use, general training guidance and motivation.
  • Correct unsafe exercise technique or equipment use within your qualifications and experience.
  • Conduct gym inductions and tours when trained and authorised.
  • Clean gym and cardio equipment thoroughly using the approved products.
  • Re-rack weights and return equipment to its correct location.
  • Keep equipment, storage areas and member cleaning stations organised and stocked.
  • Check equipment for damage or unusual operation and report faults immediately.
  • Engage with members and promote relevant events, Personal Training, recovery services and Juice Bar products.
  • Report member concerns, complaints and cancellation risks to management.
  • Complete assigned Connecteam tasks, forms and shift handovers accurately and on time.

Recovery Facilities

  • Check the recovery facilities for cleanliness, wet floors, leaks, damage and unusual operating conditions.
  • Complete scheduled backwashing of the hot tub and ice plunges when trained and authorised.
  • Check, rearrange or replace sauna stones when trained and authorised.
  • Record completed recovery work correctly.
  • Report abnormal temperatures, water conditions, circulation problems, leaks or equipment faults immediately.
  • Make unsafe areas secure and use warning signs when required.

Juice Bar

  • Prepare and serve shakes, smoothies, juices and coffees to the correct recipe and presentation standard.
  • Take orders and process Square payments, loyalty rewards and approved credits correctly.
  • Provide friendly and professional service to members.
  • Follow all food-safety, allergen and temperature-check procedures.
  • Keep the Juice Bar, equipment and preparation areas clean and presentable.
  • Check stock levels and report shortages, waste or expired products.

Additional Support

When requested by management, you may also be required to:

  • Complete outbound calls to leads or members and record the outcome in HubSpot.
  • Support local outreach, events and approved promotions.
  • Assist with reception cover, additional cleaning or other reasonable club duties.

  • Recognised Fitness Instructor qualification.
  • A genuine passion for fitness, health and helping members.
  • Friendly, confident and approachable.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Professional, reliable and proactive.
  • Willingness to work across the gym floor, recovery facilities and Juice Bar.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
  • Previous café, barista, hospitality or customer-service experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Willingness to complete the required recovery and food-safety training.
  • First Aid or CPR/AED certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
