We’re looking to hire a Flight Planning and ATC Coordinator to join our Flight Planning and ATC Team at Leeds Bradford Airport.

Join our team as a Flight Planning & ATC Coordinator. Reporting to the Flight Planning & ATC Controller, you will play a key role within the OCC at the heart of our busy flight operation. Working as One Team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, you will help ensure the day-to-day flying programme runs smoothly and is fully supported. You’ll optimise routing, minimise disruption, and drive on-time performance, collaborating closely with Flight Crew, Operations, and Maintrol to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable flights every day.

This is a rostered role, working 4 days on 4 days off (2 days / 2 nights)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Produce safe, compliant and optimised flight plans in line with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Monitor weather, airspace and ATC constraints to minimise delays and disruption.
  • Provide real-time operational support to flight crews, including reroutes, MEL/CDL items and diversion planning.
  • Drive efficiency and cost control through strategic route optimisation, effective fuel planning and proactive decision-making.

What you’ll have:

  • You will be highly organised, have an analytical mind and an understanding of flight planning and airline operations. Previous experience of working in an aviation environment would be advantageous.
  • Be able to read and assimilate technical data quickly and accurately as well as be adaptable to changing situations.
  • Have an eye for detail and the ability to prioritise workload under pressure.
  • Be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills and be passionate about providing an excellent service with safety at the centre of every decision.
