As a Floor Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering the JD experience, supporting the smooth running of the shop floor and ensuring every customer walks away feeling valued.

In this role, you’ll support daily operations, lead by example on the sales floor, and help develop a confident, motivated team. You’ll bring energy, organisation, and a passion for great service, making sure the store looks sharp, runs efficiently, and reflects the standards JD is known for.

Role OverviewAs a Floor Manager at JD Sports, you play a key role in driving strong shop-floor performance and delivering the JD service our customers expect. You lead by example — supporting your team, keeping standards high, and ensuring the floor runs smoothly every shift.Working closely with the management team, you help drive sales, boost customer engagement, and maintain a clean, organised, and high-performing store environment. This role requires confident, hands-on leadership, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to motivate your team to deliver their best.

Key Responsibilities• Deliver outstanding JD service standards, ensuring every customer receives fast, friendly, and professional support.• Drive commercial performance through effective shop-floor execution, including merchandising, replenishment, and motivating the team.• Lead and develop colleagues to maintain high performance, strong engagement, and consistent adherence to JD policies and processes.• Support day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining a clean, organised shop-floor environment.

Skills & Experience Required• Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.• Strong communication and leadership skills with proven experience supporting and developing team members.• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high operational and visual standards.• Solid commercial awareness with an understanding of how daily actions contribute to store KPIs and performance.
