<strong>FRA Carpenter</strong><br><strong>North London</strong><br><strong>£27.45 per hour Umbrella</strong><br><strong>3-Month Ongoing Contract</strong><br><strong>Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm</strong><br><strong>Company Van Provided<br></strong><br>We are currently recruiting for an experienced <strong>FRA Carpenter</strong> to join a busy repairs and compliance team working across North London.<br>This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled carpenter with fire safety experience to secure a long-term contract with a company van provided.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Installation of new fire doors and door sets</li><ul><li>Repairing and upgrading existing fire doors and frames</li><li>Fire stopping works</li><li>Installation of electrical enclosures</li><li>Installing fire-rated plasterboard systems</li><li>Ensuring all works comply with current fire safety regulations and British Standards</li><li>Completing works to a high standard of quality and workmanship</li><li>Maintaining accurate records and completing minor administrative tasks</li><li>Delivering excellent customer service when working in occupied properties</li></ul></ul>Essential Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience carrying out FRA / fire door carpentry works</li><ul><li>Strong understanding of fire door components and fire safety compliance</li><li>Knowledge of relevant British Standards and fire safety regulations</li><li>Experience with fire stopping and passive fire protection works</li><li>Full UK Driving Licence (essential)</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively</li><li>Good record-keeping and communication skills</li><li>Strong customer service and resident liaison skills</li></ul></ul><br>If you have experience in fire door installations, FRA works, and fire stopping, we'd like to hear from you.
