Fraud Investigator : remote

This is initially a 6-month contracting Financial Services Fraud Investigator opportunity and comes with the likely option to extend further. This is a fully remote working role including training. What you’ll be doing as Fraud Investigator: Supporting customers of the Bank who are the victim of active fraud or suspected fraud relating to card payments or faster payments. Calls are referred and outbound calls made to customers, a lot of the alerts that would trigger your investigation come through transaction monitoring or other internal alerts - and that is what would trigger you to make the calls out and investigate further. At certain points there might be some inbound calls to take but you are not allocated to an inbound line i.e. call centre environment. You will be building a case by looking at transaction data, customer activity/statements, and taking action where appropriate to block transfers or potentially close accounts where necessary. We are keen to speak to people about this Fraud Investigator opportunity who have the following skills and experience: - Previous Fraud/financial services experience. - Excellent telephony skills. Training: Monday - Friday 9am-5.30pm for the first 6 weeks, you will then move to a condensed shift. Condensed shift: The key ask is that you are available for shift work between Monday - Sunday between 9am and 10pm. In a 12-week rotation you’ll work 4 full weekends and have 4 weeks of 10pm finishes. You will work 4 days and have 3 rota’d days off per week, this will include 1 in every 3 full weekends where you will work both days but be rota\'d off in the week instead. You will also be given 1 in every 3 weeks ‘pm’ shifts whereby you work through to 10pm. You get your shifts in 12-week cycles, so will always have good notice of pending hours. Furthermore, if you are on holiday or need to swap shifts with a colleague etc then there will be flexibility to do this.
