We’re working with a leading global marketing agency delivering high-volume, high-impact content for one of the world’s most recognisable cloud technology brands.

They’re looking for a skilled, thoughtful and imaginative Freelance Copywriter with strong experience writing about or for AWS to join a fast-moving creative team.

This isn’t surface-level tech content. The end client is meticulous, commercially driven and expects sharp thinking, precision and originality. You’ll need to understand not just cloud technology, but how to translate it into compelling stories that resonate with technical and non-technical audiences alike.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience writing about or for AWS (Amazon Web Services) – this is essential
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing infrastructure and architecture
  • Working knowledge of developments in AI and emerging technologies
  • Experience creating:
  • Customer story scripts (including video)
  • Thought leadership articles
  • Campaign-led promotional concepts
  • The ability to flex tone and messaging for:
  • Startups
  • SMBs
  • Developers
  • Software and tech-led organisations
  • A portfolio that demonstrates clarity, creativity and commercial awareness when writing about technology

Familiarity with AWS brand voice and Amazon leadership principles would be highly advantageous.

The Impact

You’ll be shaping how one of the world’s most recognisable cloud ecosystems communicates its value. This is about simplifying complexity, elevating innovation stories, and producing content that drives engagement and credibility at scale.

Contract Details

  • Fully remote
  • Collaborative UK & US-based team
  • Initial 10-week contract
  • £325–£350 per day
  • Outside IR35
  • Strong likelihood of extension

If you’re an experienced tech copywriter with credible experience writing about or for AWS and you’re available for an immediate contract, I’d be keen to speak.

Send your portfolio and availability to discuss further.
